tniNES - an iNES ROM image tool

tniNES is an open source program, licensed under the GPL (v3+), to edit and otherwise manipulate NES ROM-images in iNES-format (.NES files), used by emulators like iNES, NESticle and fwNES. tniNES is written in QuickBASIC, with MS-DOS in mind.

tniASM - Cross Assembler

tniASM is a Z80, R800 and GBZ80 cross assembler running in Windows. (Versions prior to v0.35 also run in MS-DOS)

ROMLOAD - ROM image loading tool

Inspired by Sean Young's SCROM, ROMLOAD started as a fairly simple tool to load and execute a ROM in a Konami Sound Cartridge like Snatcher and SD-Snatcher.

  • 1992 - TURBO-R (The Usual Rotten Bullshit Of Reality)

    • This was our first product, a musicdisk for MSX2 and MSX-AUDIO with music made in FAC Sound Tracker. The title actually refers to the then recently released MSX turboR and also the fact that there were a lot of music disks released at that time. It was released on the MSX Fair Zandvoort in 1992, and actually it was build there too (the menu system had to be inserted). Talking about the menu system, it's written in BASIC and feels really sluggish, but can be greatly sped up. If there is a need, email us and we might post a patch.

    This product has been declared freeware, you are allowed to make physical copies or download the diskimage from TNI's website.

  • 1993 - Maestro EBM's Ragbag

    • Created by the Osseworst Posse, a team that operated within TNI, this is a fine musicdisk for MSX-AUDIO and MSX-MUSIC with some small demos too.

    This product has been declared freeware, you are allowed to make physical copies or download the diskimage from TNI's website.

  • 1993 - Geinhouse

    • Another disk created by the Osseworst Posse, this is a demodisk focussing on funny house music, before Happy Hardcore existed as a genre. For MSX-AUDIO only.

  • 1993 - MUSIC (Many Unbelievable Super Incredible Compositions)

    • A music disk for MSX-AUDIO and MSX-MUSIC with over 30 tunes.

  • 18 September 1993 - Revolution

    • Released at MSX Fair Zandvoort 1993, this was our first (and currently only) megademo disk. With lots of previously unseen effects, this disk certainly raised a few eyebrows at the fair. In real MSX fair tradition, the credits part wasn't quite finished yet, so every copy sold before 12:00 needed to be patched later.

  • 1996 - TNI Windows '95

    • This demodisk contains previews of Project Banshee for Gfx9000 and MSX2 (unfortunately remained unfinished), an introductory demo of the newest TNI members, a Star Trek player with music MSX-AUDIO and MSX-MUSIC, MoonSound music on disk and some other stuff.
